There is no planet B!
Out of personal conviction and with the firm belief that the quality and durability of our products are the key to true sustainability, we want to make our contribution to ensuring that the world we live in remains a world worth living in for future generations.
As a company, we are aware of our economic, ecological and social responsibility and act accordingly. This requires clear principles, long-term goals and a variety of measures in all areas of the company, which we have laid down in our sustainability report. In future, we will compare the results at two-year intervals and document our progress.
Quality is no coincidence and that's why quality has its price.
Pro-Tent is a brand product. As a manufacturer, we live up to this claim and want to deliver a sustainable product that works perfectly and reliably even after 10 or 15 years of intensive use. To achieve this goal, we invest in our own product development, in our own production with our own sewing and printing facilities. And above all – in our many employees, of whom we are proud.
We know who assembles our tent frames, who sews our tent roofs and side walls and who puts the finishing touches to a Pro-Tent with an individual print motif. This distinguishes us from many other folding tent suppliers.
Good for our seas, good for you!
In future, Pro-Tent roofs and side walls will be available in a particularly sustainable version. Because in 2023 we will start switching to recycled polyester fabrics. The first colours will be available from April, the other colours in our portfolio will follow in the next few months.
This step, which is significant for our sustainability strategy, was preceded by an intensive 3-year development and testing phase in which we put the quality of the recycled fabrics through their paces to ensure that they would really stand up to the tough demands of outdoor use.
Our new fabrics are certified according to the criteria of the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Among other things, the GRS ensures that the recycled materials can be precisely traced. It also sets production standards to reduce harmful impacts on people and the environment. The GRS seal thus stands not only for ecological but also for social responsibility. This is a claim that we share as Pro-Tent and that continues to form the framework for our goals and our actions.
