Pro‑Tent sponsors the talent development program for Swiss mountain biking
Eight stages, three linguistic regions, fantastic routes: The Swiss Bike Cup, the national racing series just below the World Cup level, is the talent incubator for Swiss mountain biking. Pro‑Tent is proud to sponsor this event. Through September, the company is providing valuable equipment to the junior racing series, thereby ensuring that all eight stages run smoothly.
What is the Swiss Bike Cup?
Since 1994, the Swiss Bike Cup has provided up-and-coming Swiss mountain bikers with a platform to test their skills. Founded by Andi Seeli, then the national coach, the junior racing series has enjoyed tremendous success over the past 24 years: Today, it is Switzerland’s national mountain bike racing series and plays a key role in promoting the sport. In doing so, it also fosters the athletic achievements of Swiss mountain bikers.
When does the 2018 Swiss Bike Cup take place?
The series kicked off on April 7 with the Tamaro Trophy, and the final stage concludes on September 23 in Lugano.

- Bike Days Solothurn: Category C1, May 5–6, 2018
- Gränichen: Category HC, June 2–3, 2018
- Bike Festival Andermatt: Category C1/Swiss Championship, June 23–24, 2018
- Villar-sur-Ollon: Category C1, August 18–19, 2018
- Basel Bike Festival: Category HC, September 1–2, 2018
- Lugano: Category C1, September 22–23, 2018

We see these very qualities embodied in the Swiss Bike Cup, as the event helps young people realize their athletic dreams and find their place in society.
