Weight plates in four variations

Safety is Pro-Tent's number one priority. In order to ensure this in all situations, we have a range of weight plates available for securing your folding tent. As a general rule, we recommend weighing down even tensioned tents with weight plates.

  • Three weight classes: 10 kg, 12.5 kg, 15 kg
  • For a reliable and flexible way to secure your folding tent
  • Easy handling
Available for the following folding tent series

Product description

The stackable hexagonal 12.5 kg weight plate is completely inside the folding tent and is often used when a Pro-Tent folding tent has to be secured with a lot of weight. The larger the dimensions of your folding tent or the more uncertain the general weather conditions, the more important it is to secure it properly.

Securing the folding tent with sufficient ballast is indispensable, especially if there are no possibilities for tensioning it. This weight plate can easily be stacked in up to six layers and thus applies up to 75 kg of ballast onto a single folding tent leg. For example, an 8 x 4 m folding tent with six poles can be secured with up to 450 kg using weight plates.

The special shape and integrated handle mean that the individual weight plates can be stacked quickly and easily. Combined with the moderate weight of 12.5 kg per weight plate, your back will thank you kindly when assembling and disassembling.
